Covid-19 Spring Update

To our valued clients,

Due to the ongoing pandemic, our communities, country and world must all work together in facing all the challenges and impacts as the COVID-19 outbreak spreads. We must stay positive during this time and focus on keeping our friends, families and colleagues safe and healthy.

Further to our previous COVID-19 statement, we continue to ensure that the safety of our clients, staff and community is our first priority. Our efforts continue to have some of our staff work remotely to reduce the number of staff in the office. The privacy and security of your information remains unchanged.

Weaver Simmons continues to do the majority of our client meetings via video conferencing or telephone, when possible. Our office will be closed to the public and will only be providing restricted access for mandatory meetings by appointment only. We suggest clients use our e-transfer payment method option for invoicing until further notice.

We continue to ask that any information you need to share with us be given electronically, when possible. In situations where it is not feasible to provide the necessary information digitally please contact our offices to schedule alternative solutions.

If you have an upcoming court date, we encourage you to read the recent announcements by the Superior Court of Justice and the Ontario Court of Justice. If you are uncertain about your court appearance, please reach out to your lawyer and they will be able to advise you.
