As each day passes, we must all work together to keep our communities, country and world healthy. This is an unprecedented time and we are facing many challenges to keep our friends, families and colleagues safe and healthy.
As the COVID-19 Coronavirus outbreak spreads, the impact on our day-to-day lives is becoming more cumbersome. We must stay positive during this time and focus our efforts in combatting the virus. The short time frame in which this has all happened is without a doubt surprising to everyone.
Given that the safety of our clients, staff and community is our first priority at Weaver Simmons, we have made the decision to deploy some of our staff to work remotely, keeping a smaller staff in the office. Rest assured that the absolute privacy and security of your information remains unchanged.
In an effort to reduce the footprint of COVID-19, our intention is to do the majority of our client meetings via video conferencing or telephone, when possible. The office is, however, still open for any meetings that need to be held in person.
We are asking that any information you need to share with us be given electronically when possible.
In situations where it is not feasible to provide the necessary information digitally, the office remains open between the hours of 8:30AM – 5:00PM.
If you have an upcoming court date, we encourage you to read the recent announcements by the Superior Court of Justice and the Ontario Court of Justice. If you are uncertain about your court appearance, reach out to your lawyer and they will be able to advise you.
