ara was born in Afghanistan, where she obtained her Bachelor of Laws. She practiced law for two years before travelling to the United States through the Fulbright Program.

Sara obtained her Master of Laws, with Distinction, in International Business & Economic Law from Georgetown University. She completed her articles with Weaver, Simmons LLP and was called to the bar in July 2022. Sara is now an associate in the firm’s Labour and Employment Department. She provides advice and representation to employers in the public and private sectors at both the federal and provincial levels, on a diverse range of matters, including wrongful dismissal claims, employment contracts, workplace investigations, policy compliance, termination procedures and employment standards.

Sara also represents landlords before the Ontario Landlord and Tenant Board offering guidance on rental agreements, tenant disputes, lease terminations, eviction proceedings, and compliance with landlord-tenant laws and regulations.

Sara is fluent in Farsi (Persian), Pashto and Urdu.
