Areas of Practice:
Having been born and raised in Northern Ontario, Matthieu obtained his Bachelor of Arts at Laurentian University in 2014. He then obtained his Juris Doctor in 2018 from the University of Ottawa’s Programme de common law en français. Matthieu completed his articles with Weaver, Simmons LLP and was called to the bar in June 2019. He is now an associate in the firm’s Family Law Department and Civil Litigation Department.
Matthieu primarily focuses his practice in areas of Custody, Access, Support, Divorce, Separation and Division of Property, assisting clients in Sudbury and Northern Ontario.
Matthieu is a proud Franco-Ontarian and practices law in both official languages. Mathieu is also the co-host of the Off The Cuff podcast (links below).
