Devan Munch is an associate at Weaver, Simmons LLP practicing in the Litigation and Estates department. His practice focuses on estate litigation, civil litigation, estate administration and wills and estate planning.
In his estate litigation practice, Devan has experience representing clients in various matters including guardianship applications, passing of accounts, will challenges, breach of fiduciary claims, misuse of powers of attorney and removal/replacement of attorneys and estate trustees. Devan’s civil litigation practice primarily involves insurance defence, focusing on the areas of municipal law and personal injury.
Devan has represented clients at various court levels including the Superior Court of Justice, Divisional Court and various tribunals.
Devan was born and raised in Sudbury. He obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree from Laurentian University and went on to obtain his Juris Doctor degree at the Bora Laskin Faculty of Law, Lakehead University in 2018.
In his free time Devan enjoys downhill skiing, golfing and spending time with his fiancée and their golden retriever, Maverick.
